I have translated a wide and varied range of material such as technical and promotional press releases, company profiles, technical manuals, user guides, business and travel offers, video games, software license agreements, networking technical documents (wired and wireless device manuals, fibre optics networks, tenders etc.), websites, applications (from simple user apps to complex enterprise systems), surveys, CVs, promotional material for business/professional and consumer IT and audio/video products for companies like:
Games, video games, casino and sports betting: I have translated several proprietary and open source games, managed multilingual localization projects for mobile games for WAAT/Twistbox, I have translated and proofread Ubisoft games, and games for iPhone/iPod/iPad. I have translated casino texts from Spanish and English to Italian for over an year on a weekly basis, took part in the localization of an important online casino, translated and edited sports betting, poker and casino material, created glossaries on poker, blackjack, betting etc. I have also provided consulting to clients planning to enter the Italian betting market. I have translated material on Superenalotto, brag, blackjack, poker, sports betting and so on for Game Account, Victor Chandler/Everest, BetFred, 24poker.com, MGS, PNL, Lottomatica, many AAMS certifications AAMS etc., translation of material for EuroCasino, instructions for sleepover games, T&C for advertising on betting sites, banners for casino tools & products, mobile videogame on Cristiano Ronaldo & other football games, proofreading of gaming material for EA, Pro 7 Games and others.
I provide translation, revision, transcription and DTP services in several formats for several platforms:

MS Office, OpenOffice, LibreOffice, WPS-Office, PDF, InDesign, XML
I am quite familiar handling files in several formats and programming/scripting languages such as Visual Basic, C, C++, Java, HTML, PHP, Perl, Python, XML, ASP, JavaScript etc.
My payment methods are: bank transfer and PayPal no later than 30 days from the date of the invoice
I work with SDL Trados Studio and memoQ , as well as Memsource, but I have no problem learning new software tools if necessary, and I can of course directly edit source content in Photoshop, InDesign, Visual Studio Code, etc.
My daily turnaround is about 3000/3500 words for translation and 5000/6000 words for proofreading and editing.
Information Technology
I first experienced information technology back in 1984 and have been working since 1994 as web designer, teacher, consultant, and as storechecker for two years for Context European Information Services (IDC) - London both in real and virtual shops. As a teacher I have managed individual and group courses of any level: EU-funded professional and vocational training, temp workers and apprentices, professional training for the Municipality of Trieste, middle school teachers' training, basic and advanced courses for Windows and MacOS, ECDL, training for the military, web and graphic design Photoshop, Flash, VBA, Access, video editing etc. I have also worked as tutor for several EU-funded courses
Some of the tasks performed along the years included:
- database development (Access, MySQL, Postgresql)
- teaching, tutoring and training
- IT consulting
- IT technical support (Mac e PC)
- DTP for the student's guides for the University of Trieste
- data entry in several university offices and libraries
Graphic Design & Web Design
In 1995 I began working in web design and designed and built several projects for public and private entities in Italy and abroad such as schools and universities, photographers, dj's, clubs, web agencies, travel agents, IT consultancy companies, translation agencies, bars and restaurants, communication agencies, cultural and sports associations, non-profit organizations etc.
In these projects, I have applied a series of technology taking into account the specific needs and what was available at the time:
The projects ranges from simple showcase websites, professional and artistic portfolios to institutional websites, online shops, as well as event presentations with user registration and payment solutions, booking systems, image galleries, forums and communities of any kind, online catalogues and database management. All of this, either developing new custom solutions or taking advantage and customizing ready-made blogging, CMS, e-commerce packages such as:
