Flexibility and advantages of one-to-one tuition

Online Italian lessons with flexible topics and timetables.

Individual online Italian courses adaptable to the student's needs and goals.

Often, the big problem in Italian classroom courses is the excessive number of pupils, perhaps with different levels of preparation and needs, which does not allow the teacher to pay due attention to the individual.

The lesson then becomes fragmented, the teacher has to juggle people with different needs, different levels of understanding and preparation, and time flies. One runs the risk that either everything is taken for granted and imposed from above without much input and participation from the class, or on the other hand, that the constant interventions and questions from struggling pupils undermine topics and objectives on the syllabus that will probably never be fully achieved because there is not enough time.

On the contrary, one-to-one lessons or - at most - groups of up to three people, allow the students to express themselves to the best of their ability, and the teacher to focus on the needs and peculiarities of the individual student, helping them to achieve their goals. In addition, the flexibility of the timetable and number of lessons allows the teacher to work for the time actually needed for proper and satisfying learning, shortening or lengthening the schedule according to individual needs.

An hour of Italian lesson shared between dozens of people cannot - as explained above - offer the same quality and attention as the same amount of time shared between three people or even just one person.

My Italian courses are 'tailor-made': they consist of Italian lessons designed according to the student's needs and interests, following his or her pace as closely as possible. Italian lessons, online or in person, will focus on the points that are most important to the student.

Italian courses available both for individuals and for a maximum of 3 people. In the case of group lessons, it is necessary that the students are all at the same level in order to provide a consistent, homogenous and adequate teaching experience.

For group lessons, the hourly cost is slightly higher than the cost for individual lessons but is shared among the participants.

Learning and improvement of the Italian language through readings, pronunciation exercises, dictation, translation exercises, listening and comprehension tests, short compositions, conversation, grammar and vocabulary exercises, simulation of practical situations with the aim of improving the mastery of Italian.
